New bud rising

This is my husband's JBP that he has been growing from seeds for years.

He has done mekiri/bud cutting for JBP in early July. The new buds are growing well so far.

Beech's leaves cutting

Last year, I made this beech's leaves get sun-burned seriously. Again this year...

Thankfully, it is not too bad so I have cut the leaves before getting worse.

This is the hottest Yuruchara in Japan, called "Bunassyi "...no, his real name is "Funassyi". Buna is beech in Japanese.



My favourite suiseki

My husband has some suiseki...not a lot. This one is my favourite of all.

Moji baika seki(Moji ume flower stone). Moji is a town located in the edge of north Kyusyu. Height is 8cm.

Grafted Japanese white pine. Mr.T, the exhibitor is over 80 but still energetic enough to hold a local auction. This JWP was put up for the auction, but no one bid so Mr.T had got it and trained for this stage. Amazing.

Vendor corner. This is Gasyo-en's. Gasyo-en is one of the high class shohin nursery in Japan. Higo Gayu-kai(bonsai club)is belonged to Gasyo-en.
